Man, I must say, I really wish I could be feeling embitterment, annoyance, anger, or any emotion that a pissed-off juror typically feels coming into a final tribal council. Instead... Honestly, I'm feeling a bit confused. I don't think I've ever seen a final 3 in which each finalist has practiced such horrendous jury management. I mean, did you all forget that we'd be here at the end? Because most of us are looking at our choices and wondering how the hell we can crown a winner here. I guess the one thing you guys have going for you is that we ultimately HAVE to pick one of you. (We do, right Bo?)

But I won't speak for the entire jury, instead I'll address each of you from my own persepective.


BRANDON

You and I... well, we never clicked. Now, "not clicking" isn't ever anyone's fault, but it becomes your fault when you don't even try. And you didn't. You never once initiated conversation with me, and whenever I'd reach out to you, I always got the vibe that you didn't care. Which is fine I guess... Although... I do find the whole "returnee alliance" between you and Burton a little odd, especially if the only thing you were looking for to make that alliance was the sheer fact that you both were returning players ... I mean, HEY!!! *waves* I was a returning player too!!!

But none of that bothers me as much as your reaction to the results of the final 9 immunity challenge. If you recall, as soon as I won you immediately left the chatroom. Really dude? In my book, there's absolutely no excuse for being a sore loser. Period.



BURTON

Everything I just outlined to Brandon regarding his lack of trying to connect with me, you are even more guilty of. Why? Because you had two chances and you blew each of them. Both before and after the merge I felt the cold shoulder from you. You know, one-word responses, etc. (Brandon at least typed out full sentences...) Sure, maybe the first time around it was forgivable since there was the chance I wasn't going to return from RI. But when I came back and you STILL didn't say anything to me... Not even to clear the air... Um, hello? And then there was that one "strategy" talk (if you can even call it that) that I tried to have with you right before Morgan's boot. Do you remember how you tried to change the subject? Out of nowhere, while I'm in the midst of asking to be your "new Krista" that you can batter around, you start talking about ICE CREAM of all things! Like, WHAT??? Just so... weird.

On top of all of that, I can't help but feel you are sitting in the final 3 due to the extreme fortune that befell you before the first NuOmetepe tribal council. Now, I'm sure the response would be, "well get over it" - and I am over it! Meaning, I'm over the fact that my game was affected by it. But that doesn't mean I'm just going to overlook the fact that it happened in deciding who my final vote is going to.



GRANT

Oh Granty... I think Morgan's videos are the perfect way to describe my feelings about you right now. For me personally, in this game, you were the polar opposite of Brandon and Burton. You DID get to know me and we DID have fantastic chats pretty much up until you cut my head off. But it's like, what did you hope to gain from attempting to constantly reassure me with things like: grandiose "plans" and chats where you claimed that I was the only person that "did it for you" in the social sense? Not once, but three times you burned me, and instead of owning up to the fact that we just weren't going to be on the same side, you kept trying to make me think you were the good guy. Why was that necessary? I had no power the entire merge, and that was apparent as early as Gary's boot. Even the round I went out, you didn't have the decency to tell me what was going on. Instead you: 1) Tried to blame my elimination on everyone else and 2) Tried to make me feel better by saying "at least you can say you made it further than steve did, lol."

The thing is, I LOVE a good villain - one who can lie and deceive and make everyone in the game just love to hate him. But that wasn't you in this game, because a good villain ends up being hated but respected. And as I sit here right now, I have very little respect for a lot of what you did.


Well, glad I got all that off my chest. Because I actually didn't come to berate you guys.

I want you to tell me how your performance in Vs10 mirrors (or does not mirror) your performance in the bedroom, making specific reference to each of the 3 aspects of the game. I then want you to formally endorse which aspect is most like your sex life.

I’m sorry Aras that you felt that way, but I can’t say it enough, the people I got to know and became friends with in this game was for nothing else but get to know people and hopefully be able to continue the friendship outside of this game. This is a game and I had to put myself first and do what I thought was best for me on a game level. Yes I felt bad that you were on the outs and you said that you only trusted me at that point in the game.

“I know you might think that I'm irked about the way the last few rounds have gone, but I can't fault you for doing what was best for you to get through the game. All I can do now is sell why I think I can be an asset to you from here on out.

Now, if you have a plan to get to the end that doesn't involve me, I totally understand. But here's the thing: I want to know that's the case before the vote is revealed. You don't have to tell me right away, hell you can even tell me within the last hour of the voting window, but I'd like to know either way.”

I did feel bad about not telling you but you have to realize I couldn’t tell you my “plan to get to the end” because that would be hurting my game if you got pissed and told everyone, I had to think about myself at that point. And I’m sorry if you feel that I should have trusted that you wouldn’t say anything to others (you didn’t give me that guarantee that if I told you it would have between you and I only). And I did feel that if I wouldn’t have given you “hope” you could have easily gone to anyone else in the game and tried the same thing and that could have resulted in me going home.

I may not have initiated any conversations with you, but when you talked to me it wasn't like I flat out ignored you and we did talk about things. If I didn't care to talk with you, I would have given you short replies or not responded back at all. I could have befriended you, deceived you, been fake with you, and had you all pissed off at me by this point but since I had no intention of actually working with you in the game, I only felt like that would have done more damage then good. I had already burned a lot of other bridges in the game and feel like another would only make things so much worst for myself.

The whole returnee alliance between me and Burton was smart. Sure you were a returning player too and I could have done that with you as well, I just felt a good connection with Burton when I first talked to him and thought he would stick with me. He had a huge target in the game like myself, was another runner up placer, and it was something that would serve both our interests to stick by each other. Had you come up with the same idea and came to me, I might have jumped on with you but you never did.

Far as the final 9 challenge went, I left the room when I was out of the challenge. I needed to be awake at 4am for World Cup soccer game I had a huge bet on and it was almost 10pm by that time. I could have always stayed and watched Bo roll dice and watch you guess one on zero since Burton wasn't even there, but what would the point be? Bo kicked everyone out of the chat when they were out of the challenge anyway and thought I was supposed to leave and if anything maybe I left 5 seconds too soon. Sore loser I don't think so, I didn't need that immunity and whether you or another person won it didn't make that much difference to me.
